Programmer Analyst

The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is in search of a Programmer Analyst that will work to utilize customer relationship management applications, document management applications, call center applications, middleware technologies, etc.  The Programmer Analyst is responsible for supporting applications deployed within the enterprise, cloud, or hybrid cloud.  They will provide a bridge between several agile teams, the business users, data administration, network operations, and network engineering functions to support both custom and off-the-shelf applications.  We are looking for someone who demonstrates an ability to challenge the status quo, influence others to embrace new technologies and processes, and to motivate others toward continual improvement in the performance of the organization.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Experience supporting a variety of software applications deployed within the enterprise, cloud, or hybrid cloud
• Excellent verbal, written, and other media communication skills
• Integrative thinking, analytical and problem solving skills
• Demonstrated personal mastery of information technologies with ability to learn new software
• Some software development language skills in the following areas preferred: ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, AJAX, Java, ANSI SQL 92, TSQL, HTML, XHTM L, CSS, DHTML, XML, XSL, XSLT, XPATH, XSD
• Working knowledge in the following protocols preferred: HTTP, HTTPS (SSL encryption), SOAP, SMTP, DNS, TCP/IP, Firewalls
• Application platform skills in some of the following areas preferred: Windows Server, Active Directory, IIS, Dynamics CRM, BizTalk Server, Tomcat, Apache, Websphere
• Database platform skills in some of the following areas preferred: Microsoft SQL Server (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS), VMware Workstation, ESX, Lab Manager, or Virtual PC
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and be an effective member of a team
• Excellent project management and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to establish effective rapport with all levels of CBN staff and outside public
