Publicity Internship

Regnery Publishing, the leading book publisher in conservative and current event titles, has an immediate opening for an Intern.  Regnery is a division of Salem Media Group and it is conveniently located on Capitol Hill near Union Station in Washington, DC.

Key Duties:

• Assist the publicity department publicists with implementing publicity campaigns for Regnery's authors.

Ideal candidate must have:

• Interest in media relations
• Pursuing a college degree in English, journalism, marketing, public relations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Well-developed interpersonal skills, high energy, and the ability to successfully manage several tasks at one time
• Knowledge and understanding of conservative marketplace a plus

Successful candidate will:

• Be self-motivated, organized, and able to take direction from a variety of people
• Have strong communications skills and understand the importance of follow-up
• Have a positive, can-do attitude
