Marketing Coordinator
Regnery Publishing is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to help create demand for
Regnery’s extensive catalogue of books, including new releases and hundreds of
backlist titles.
Regnery has been a leading publisher of conservative books since 1947. With
several New York Times bestsellers published every year and recently established
History, Faith, and Children’s imprints, Regnery is a growing business that
constantly seeks new, innovative ways to promote our books.
The Marketing Coordinator will assist the Senior Marketing Manager with the
development and implementation of creative marketing initiatives, including email
campaigns, online advertising, print promotions, social media campaigns, outreach to outside organizations, special offers, mailings, and more.
The Marketing Coordinator will also work closely with the Conservative Book Club, a new and growing online community of conservative readers. The Conservative Book Club is in the process of increasing its email membership, social media following, and web traffic; and the Marketing Coordinator will manage ad campaigns and assist in Conservative Book Club brand messaging to help further those goals.
Responsibilities of the job include:
Building attractive, compelling HTML emails and monitoring their effectiveness;
Updating and improving Regnery’s website with a focus on Search Engine Optimization;
Working with Regnery’s Art Department to create online ads;
Managing Google AdWords and Facebook Ad campaigns for both Regnery and the Conservative Book Club;
Managing Regnery’s social media presence with a focus on growing reach
and increasing engagement;
Working with Regnery’s Art and Editorial departments to craft print ads and
marketing collateral that effectively sell books to target audiences;
Drafting compelling descriptive copy for our books.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or
a related field with a working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Wordpress, and Google
Analytics. Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop is a plus, but not necessary. Preferred
candidates will be creative thinkers well-versed in right-of-center political issues
who are able to help brainstorm out-of-the-box marketing opportunities for our
books and authors.
