IT Manager

Salem Web Network is looking for a skilled IT Professional to manage its IT Department.

The following duties will be the responsibility of the IT Manager

• Maintain the IT environment by providing technical support, maintenance and forward looking guidance for all aspects of the IT environment; from laptops to servers and the WAN and LAN networks.

• Develop new vendor relationships, while maintaining existing relationships with trusted partners.

• Complete projects by coordinating resources and timetables with local stakeholders and data center.

• Preserve software and data assets by implementing backup procedures and information security and control structures.

• Verify application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented.

• Assist in planning the annual IT budget and manage the purchasing of equipment and services for four offices in Central and Northern Virginia.

• Develop and update controls to test the department’s Policies and Procedures

• Prepare for and lead the department through annual internal and external compliance audits.

Desired Skills:
 

Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
 

3+ years of experience in related field (e.g., Helpdesk, Server Administration, Network Administration)
 

Experience managing and supporting internal networks and related hardware, software and desktop applications (e.g., Windows Server, Cisco IOS and hardware, VMware and VSphere, Windows 7-10, Mac OSX)
 

Experience developing and supporting local applications and networks, security practices and systems, knowledge of current trends in IT
 

Strong verbal and written skills
