Eastgate Church is a non-denominational gathering of believers embracing the model of the local church from the New Testament. We are uniquely placed in our community to collectively advance God's plan of redemption for people hungry for a life of purpose and meaning (Acts 20:20 / Eph. 2:19 / Eph. 4:11-13).
At our core, we are Christ-centered, placing Jesus and His lordship at the heart of everything we do (Matt. 6:33 / Col. 3:17 / Gal. 2:20). Our commitment is to build our faith by teaching the entirety of God's word with utmost dedication (Prov. 7:2-3 / 1 Thess. 2:13 / 2 Tim. 3:16-17).
Driven by the belief in the Holy Spirit's power to transform lives, we embrace His presence in all aspects of our daily walk with our Lord. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with His gifts being alive today demonstrated with mature and responsible expression (Acts 2:17-18 / 1 Cor. 12:7-11 / 1 Cor. 14:33).
At Eastgate Church, we cultivate a life-giving environment. Our church is a place where everyone is welcome regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey. We refrain from condemnation, judgment, or spiritual comparisons. We embrace each individual's unique journey, and trust God to use everyone in the body to foster growth and unity in our local church family. (Romans 14:1,4,12,19, 22 / Eph. 4:29 / I Peter 1:22).
