POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Product Development Manager (PDM) to join our team and guide development of our products and user interface. This role will manage the entire product development process within StudioC, from conception to launch. A visionary with an inquisitive mind and great attention to detail will fit well with StudioC, collaborating as we continually innovate to meet client needs. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Research and determine industry and clients’ needs to decide which features to include in our products.
  • Pitch ideas for product features to stakeholders.
  • Create detailed designs and wireframes to inform engineering and development.
  • Act as the primary contact between the scrum teams, product development, engineering departments, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with CEO and engineering/product development team to ensure the products meet specific objectives.
  • Translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.
  • Work in an Agile environment, continuously reviewing business needs, refining priorities, outlining milestones and deliverables, identifying opportunities and risks.
  • Develop, own, and manage product roadmap.
  • Prioritize and maintain the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of stakeholders.
  • Lead the product functional design process based on an intimate knowledge of the users and technology.
  • Develop and maintain appropriate tracking and reporting of product performance to evaluate future investment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Experience & Competencies
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Training in product management.
  • Proficient in software development and relevant web technologies.
  • Proven hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle.
  • Ability to work with multiple teams.
  • Agile/scrum project management; certified SAFe Product Owner nice to have.
  • Frontend developer skills, including TWIG or any rapid prototyping framework, as well as HTML/CSS/JS, 
  • Ability to build visual representation of website; experienced and capable Graphic Designing skills, preferred.
  • UX/UI – user experience skills, user interface design.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
