Job Opening: Worship Director

Alive Church is seeking a passionate and dedicated Worship Director to join our family. If you are a devoted follower of Jesus with a heart for worship and a talent for music, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Provide Musical Leadership: Lead music for weekend services, special events, memorial services, and rehearsals.

• Mentor and Coach Volunteers: Guide and schedule our worship volunteers, helping them grow in their roles.

• Collaborate on Worship Planning: Work closely with the staff team to plan and coordinate worship for the Adult Weekend Experience.

• Set and Monitor Goals: Establish short and long-term goals to enhance the effectiveness of the Alive Church worship/music team.

• Implement Vision Through Music: Bring our "One Voice" vision to life in every musical piece.

• Recruit and Equip Volunteers: Find, develop, and prepare worship volunteers for weekend services.

• Lead Weekly Rehearsals: Conduct weekly band rehearsals to ensure readiness and excellence.

• Manage Music Resources: Plan and manage music and charts through Planning Center Online and other music software.

• Oversee Budget: Manage the Worship budget effectively.

• Support Youth and Kids' Worship: Oversee music for Alive Kids and Youth programs.

Qualifications

• Devoted Follower of Jesus: Must align with Alive Church’s Mission, Vision, Values, and Ministry Practices.

• Effective Communicator: Ability to communicate from the stage and in 1-on-1 settings.

• Experience: Minimum of 2+ years in a church worship environment.

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's or Master’s Degree is a plus.

• Technical Skills: Proficient in ProPresenter and Planning Center Online.

• Musical Skills: Strong musical background and proficiency in relevant instruments/software.
