Overview

Alive Church is passionate about creating followers of Jesus. We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Youth Director to provide vision, direction, and leadership for Alive Church Youth Ministry (AYM).

Responsibilities

Our Youth Director will be responsible for the following key areas:

• Leadership and Vision: Provide strategic direction for AYM. Maintain and enhance existing policies and procedures.

• Volunteer Management: Build, train, shepherd, and equip volunteer teams. Schedule and maintain clear communication with volunteers.

• Administration: Manage Planning Center Online workflows, lists, and notes. Oversee the AYM budget to ensure financial integrity.

• Service Planning: Plan weekly services implementing One Voice curriculum.

• Event Coordination: Plan weekly youth events, including small groups. Organize experiences, events, retreats, trips, etc., for Middle School and High School students.

• Community Building: Develop positive relationships with students and parents. Engage with students regularly to encourage their spiritual growth.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Faith Commitment: Must be a devoted follower of Jesus, supporting Alive Church’s Mission, Vision, and Values.

• Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with volunteers, parents, and youth.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in Ministry within a church environment.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Technical Skills: Experience with Planning Center is a plus.
