Production Coordinator – Marketing Department

Location: Brandon, Florida (on-site)

Type: Full-Time, M-F

Reports to: Marketing Manager

Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Production Coordinator to join our Marketing Department. The Production Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and managing the production of marketing materials, campaigns, and projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with the organization’s goals. This individual will work closely with creative, design, content, and other marketing teams to coordinate, track, and execute projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management:
    • Oversee the end-to-end production of marketing projects, including digital and print materials, advertisements, videos, events, and other campaigns.
    • Create and manage detailed project timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met.
    • Coordinate with internal teams (creative, design, content, digital) and external vendors/agencies to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality production.
    • Track project progress, anticipate potential delays, and resolve any issues that arise.
  2. Reporting and Analysis:
    • Provide regular updates to senior management regarding project status, budgets, and any concerns or challenges.
    • Analyze the effectiveness and ROI of marketing campaigns and provide recommendations for improvements.
  3. Vendor and Resource Management:
    • Manage relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and production companies to source materials and services.
    • Negotiate contracts and pricing with third-party vendors to ensure the best value for services rendered.
  4. Quality Control:
    • Ensure that all marketing materials meet the company’s brand standards and quality requirements.
    • Review and approve final proofs of marketing collateral and campaign elements before production.
  5. Process Improvement:
    • Continuously evaluate and improve production workflows, processes, and tools to increase efficiency.
    • Implement best practices for production management within the marketing department.
  6. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with other departments to understand project objectives and ensure alignment.
    • Ensure smooth communication between creative teams and production teams to execute ideas effectively.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure all marketing goals and project requirements are met.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in production management, project management, or marketing operations, preferably in a marketing or creative environment.
  • Strong understanding of marketing processes and techniques, including digital and traditional marketing channels.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and third-party vendors.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for high-quality work.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with video production, graphic design, or writing.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools and performance tracking for marketing campaigns.
  • Knowledge of marketing automation tools and content management systems (CMS).
